WORKshift participants will have access to a single source of all-things telework. This tool-kit will assist businesses to rapidly implement their own telework programs and includes:

  • A web-based tool  that will measure and track cost savings and positive impacts to the environment
  • Quick start and booster kits
  • Employee/employer telework agreements, FAQ’s and best practices
  • Training  for teleworkers, telework managers and corporate services
  • Membership to a knowledge network for learning and sharing

The WORKshift program will promote the adoption of formalized telework programs with businesses and commuters in 19 diverse municipalities around Calgary by raising awareness, providing business and measurement tools, and assisting with the development of public policy. It provides a web tracking  tool which will help organizations measure the success of their telework programs across three distinct areas: Employer, Employee and Environmental benefits.
