WORKshift participants have access to a single source of all-things telework. This toolkit assists them in achieving a number of telecommuting business benefits, and includes:
- Web-based measurement and tracking of cost savings and positive environmental impacts
- Quick start and booster kits
- Employee/employer telecommuting agreements, FAQs and best practices
- Training for telecommuters, telework managers and corporate services
- Membership in a knowledge network for learning and sharing
The WORKshift program promotes the adoption of formalized telecommuting programs with businesses and commuters in 19 diverse municipalities around Calgary by raising awareness, providing business and measurement tools, and assisting with the development of public policy.
